Pay summary

See the whole pay picture before payday

A good pay summary answers more than one question at once. How many hours have I logged? Which shifts have I marked paid? Which ones need follow-up? Did the weekend shift change this period?

HoursKit gathers those moving parts in one place, turning completed shifts into a picture you can act on while the details are still fresh.

What you can do with HoursKit

See recorded gross pay to date, projected gross pay, overtime, paid and unpaid shifts, job totals, and current pay-period progress.

See recorded and projected gross pay together

See the gross pay attached to hours already recorded, alongside a projected gross figure for the rest of the current period. The first number grounds you in the shifts you have completed; the second shows where the period is heading from the shifts and settings currently in place.

Open the total when it needs explaining. The underlying dates, jobs, rates, breaks, and additions remain available behind the headline.

Separate shifts marked paid from shifts marked unpaid

Paid status separates shifts you have marked paid from those still marked unpaid, across all jobs or within one selected job.

A freelancer can spot client hours that may need an invoice or follow-up. An employee can compare the shifts marked paid with their own payment information while keeping the rest of the period in view.

See which jobs and rates moved the number

Regular hours, overtime, double time, and special-rate work remain separate in the summary. Job totals show which role, client, or project is contributing most.

Two periods can contain the same number of hours and still look very different because one included overtime, a public holiday, or a night differential. The summary makes that difference visible.

Spot patterns across time

Switch between today, a week, a month, a custom range, and the current pay period to see how your earnings are changing. The comparison is especially revealing when a quiet week follows a heavy one or a single job begins taking a larger share of your time.

For a fortnightly schedule, the whole window builds in one view. You can follow the shape of the period without manually stitching two weekly totals together.

Know what deserves attention

The dashboard turns a broad question into a smaller next action: correct a shift, mark work as paid, check a rate, or prepare an invoice.

Filter by job, paid status, or period when you need to isolate one part of the picture. The daily entries and the summary stay connected, so an answer is never far from the detail that produced it.
