Information We Collect

Adler Ventures LLC provides HoursKit. This policy explains how we handle data when you use our iOS app and website. The data processed depends on your app version, enabled features, permissions, and interactions.

• App data: jobs, shifts, pay settings, and other information you enter. This is stored on your device and may sync through your private iCloud account when the feature is available.
• Usage and device data: app and device identifiers, app and operating-system versions, feature interactions, diagnostic information, and preferences or work/pay information you provide during setup.
• Purchase data: products, transactions, subscription status, billing periods, and relevant start or expiry dates.
• Support data: messages you send, conversation and session identifiers, and app context used to help answer your request.

Analytics and Service Providers

We use PostHog and Firebase Analytics to understand usage, improve reliability, personalize the app experience, and measure purchase activity. Events may be associated with persistent app or device identifiers and subscription information; this data is not necessarily anonymous. Firebase Analytics may infer approximate location from an IP address, independently of location permission.

Our current Firebase Analytics configuration does not collect Apple’s advertising identifier or enable personalized advertising. Adapty may collect Apple’s advertising identifier for attribution when you grant Apple’s tracking permission. You can manage that permission in iOS Settings.

The marketing website uses PostHog in cookieless mode to measure visits, interactions, referral sources, and approximate visitor country. Website session recording is disabled. Cloudflare processes technical request data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website.

Location Features

If you enable location features, HoursKit uses device location and saved job locations for functions such as automatic clock-in and clock-out. With permission for background location, this may also happen while the app is not open. You can change location permission in iOS Settings or disable the feature. Saved job locations may be included in your private iCloud sync data.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Apple processes purchases through the App Store. Adapty processes purchase and subscription information, app/profile identifiers, and IP addresses so we can provide paid features, restore purchases, and understand subscription activity. Purchase status and related metadata may also be associated with analytics profiles. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

Support Chat

When you contact us in the app, PostHog Support processes your message content, conversation/session identifiers, and related app context. The conversation is linked to the app’s PostHog profile and may be viewed alongside device, usage, and subscription information to help us resolve your request.

Chat content is handled as support data. The app does not add message text to its separate usage events, and chat text is masked in app session recordings. Avoid sending passwords, full payment-card details, or other information that is not needed for support.

Notifications

HoursKit uses Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging for remote-notification features where available. Registration can process device tokens and Firebase installation identifiers before you grant permission to display alerts. Notification data may include conversation and message identifiers so a tap can open the relevant chat. You can control alerts in iOS Settings; registering a device does not itself grant alert permission.

Your Choices and Data Requests

You can manage location, tracking, and notification permissions in iOS Settings and your iCloud data through your Apple account. Contact us through the Support page to ask about access to or deletion of support and analytics data. Removing the app does not automatically delete records already held by our service providers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
