# See the whole pay picture before payday

A good pay summary answers more than one question at once\. How many hours have I logged? Which shifts have I marked paid? Which ones need follow\-up? Did the weekend shift change this period? ## See recorded and projected gross pay together

See the gross pay attached to hours already recorded, alongside a projected gross figure for the rest of the current period\. The first number grounds you in the shifts you have completed; the second shows where the period is heading from the shifts and settings currently in place\. Open the total when it needs explaining\. The underlying dates, jobs, rates, breaks, and additions remain available behind the headline\.

## Separate shifts marked paid from shifts marked unpaid

Paid status separates shifts you have marked paid from those still marked unpaid, across all jobs or within one selected job\. A freelancer can spot client hours that may need an invoice or follow\-up\. An employee can compare the shifts marked paid with their own payment information while keeping the rest of the period in view\.

## See which jobs and rates moved the number
