# Find any past shift quickly

The shift ends, the week moves on, and then a perfectly ordinary question arrives: Which days did I work? Did I already send those hours? Why does this month look different from the last one? HoursKit puts completed shifts on a calendar, with the details attached to each day, so the answer is where the work was logged\.

## See the shape of a working month

A calendar makes patterns visible quickly\. Scan a day, week, month, or year to find a missed entry, a run of long shifts, a quieter stretch, or the dates attached to a client project\. Tap into a completed shift when the total alone is not enough and revisit its time range, break, job, task, tag, and note\. It is the difference between remembering that you worked last Tuesday and being able to see what that day contained\.

## Keep the detail behind every total

Each entry stays connected to its job, paid status, rate rules, and estimated pay, which helps when similar\-looking weeks produce different results\. If you worked a weekend, took time off, or picked up an extra late shift, the calendar shows why the total moved\. You can correct a forgotten break or a time that needs attention while the shift is still easy to place\.

## Find one kind of work without losing the rest

Mixed schedules are common: an employer's shifts, a side client, training, and a personal project can all share the same month\. Filter the history by job, task, tag, paid status, date range, or pay period to focus on the question in front of you\. A contractor can look back at one client's March work; an hourly worker can check the current pay window; a student can separate campus shifts from weekend work\.

## Use the days you have already checked

If a client asks which dates were worked, or you want to compare a pay window with your own notes, start from the calendar and narrow it to the relevant work\. The entry details are already there\. A selected range can become a timesheet when you need one, while the calendar remains a place to revisit the individual days behind it later\.
